What is a Bitcoin?

All Bitcoin is essentially a computer data which is collected in a ‘digital wallet’ app on a smartphone or computer. People can transfer Bitcoins (or part of one) to your digital wallet, and you can transfer Bitcoins to other people. Every individual transaction is listed on a public list called the blockchain.
