  2. Be thorough with all basic concepts.
  3. MOSFET small-signal model was asked.
  4. Applying KCL and KVL for circuits with a voltage source, current source, and resistors.
  5. LC circuit questions were asked.
  6. RC filter was asked for given input draw the output waveform with the time constant(T)

        T <<  input period and T >>  input period.

Digital electronics – Topics to be covered

  1. Basic gates questions, Multiplexer, decoder and encoder topics, flip-flop, and latches.
  2. Difference between sequential and combinational circuits.
  3. Noise margin, Propagation delay.
  4. Setup time and hold time-based questions were asked.
  5. Timing analysis questions were asked.
  6. The finite state machine (Mealy and Moore) was asked.

Other topics

  1. Should know the complete design and working of your project
  2. Understand how each component works.
  3. Know the variations of  Vth, resistance, and mobility with respect to temperature.
  4. Always answer with confidence.
  5. If you don’t know the answers just tell them. Don’t keep quiet.
  6. Have a clear idea about your higher education and future plans.
  7. At the end always ask some relevant questions.

01. After 1st technical round 14 students were allowed to attend further technical rounds.

02. 2 technical rounds were involved.

03. For some they took 3 to 4 technical rounds(1 to 2 rounds were done on the telephone).

04. HR round they asked family background and our willingness to work for the job profile offered.

05. Final 3 students were selected 2 for design engineer 1 for a testing engineer.

Suggestions

  • Don’t ever try to deviate the interviewer if you can’t answer.
  • Be thorough with the concepts…[formulas will just show you the path but concepts will make you reach the destiny.]
  • Don’t be tensed or scared at any time on the interview day.
  • And at the last but not least is be ready to accept the results.
