Hello guys, in this zip file you will find the Matlab Simulink model on a PV Based EV Charging Station With SEPIC converters & Bi-directional Converter Along With Back-up Battery.
The main aim of this project is the PV array battery charger for EVs by using the sepic converter and bidirectional DC-DC converter. In this study, the battery charging system is discussed in detail as it relates to the development of electric vehicles. Charging an electric vehicle’s battery from the grid raises its load demand. As a result, this study proposes a photovoltaic (PV) array-based off-board EV battery charging solution.
The EV battery must be charged continuously regardless of solar irradiation, which is accomplished by using a backup battery bank in addition to the PV array. The suggested system uses a septic converter and a three-phase bidirectional DC-DC converter with a PI controller to charge the EV battery during both sunshine and non-sunshine hours.
The backup battery charges alongside the EV battery during peak sunlight hours, while the backup battery assists in the charging of the EV battery during non-sunny hours. Simulink in the MATLAB software is used to simulate the proposed charging system.
