Online Test 

01. Platform: Glider

02. There were 3 sections in the online test

  • Section – 1 : Aptitude (20 questions)
  • Section – 2 : SQL (15 questions)
  • Section – 3 : JAVA (15 questions)

03. Aptitude

  • 20 questions 31 mins.
  • Questions were based on Profit loss, Discount, Number System, Interest, Average.

04. SQL

  • 15 questions 21 mins.
  • Questions were based on insert, delete, update and join operations type MCQ questions, mainly focussed on Joins.
  • Be perfect with your basics.

05. Java

  • 15 questions 21 mins.
  • Questions were mainly on output prediction and OOP concepts.
  • Refer to sites like javatpoint, geeksforgeeks.

PWC Technical Interview Questions

Inputs from computer science student 01:

01. The technical round went on for around 20 minutes.

02. The initial questions were on basic SQL and java.

03. Then there was a discussion on the projects done.

04. I had done projects on CFD using HPC as well as ML which I explained clearly my role.

05. There was a discussion on my Data Science and ML projects too as they were mentioned in my resume.

06. I was asked my field of interest for which I explained about Quantum Computers.

Inputs from computer science student 02:

01. Tell me about yourself.

02. Is it a mobile advantage or disadvantage in a corporate sector?

03. What are the qualities of a team player?

04. Which project was interesting to you other than the projects you worked on? Why was it interesting? What were the technologies used?

05. What is normalization in DBMS and why is it used?

06. When do you say a table is normalized?

07. What is the use of a table that is not normalized?

Inputs from electronics and communication student 03:

01. This was a mere 15-20 mins round

02. Discussions were mostly on what was on my resume.

03. The interview wanted BIGDATA and its framework but I don’t have much idea regarding that so I denied it.

04. Basic Python Questions were asked.

05. Some discussions on present tech.

06. This was quite an easy round.

01. In a technical interview one person was there, the first question was tell me about yourself.

02. Then he asked what is the primary key and foreign key in SQL.

03. Explain primary and foreign keys with examples. (I explained with employee table).

04. Then he asked me to explain my projects.

05. Then he asked me to explain how data is stored in the cloud (as my project was related to the cloud).

06. Then asked me the difference between C and C++.

07. Then asked to explain the structure of C++.

01. Difference between array and pointer.

02. Suggest a method of joining two tables.

03. What do you know about big data?

04. What do you mean by “normalization”?

05. Do you think BCNF is better than 2NF & 3NF? Why?

06. Give me a SQL Query to find out the second-largest company?

07. What is a dangling pointer?

08. Questions on the project and your role in the project.

09. Questions on C++ basics.

10. Explain OOPS concepts with an example for each.

11. Differences between malloc and calloc with syntax.

Inputs from electrical and electronics student 06:

01. Difference between c and c++.

02. Difference between tuple and list.

03. What is oops and questions on the basic concept.

04. What is “SELECT” and why it is used?

05. What is Kirchhoff’s law?

06. Questions on project and concept mentioned in the project.

07. Questions on C++ basics.

08. Questions on python basics. (as I mentioned in my resume).

09. Difference between machine learning and deep learning.

10. Brief discussion on job role.

04. Explain your recent project and all the technical parts you have done?

05. Give me a SQL Query to select the name from a given table?

06. What is SQL?

07. Questions on the project and your role in the project.

08. Questions on C++ basics.

09. Explain OOPS concepts with an example for each.

10. Write a program to understand the use of a return statement.

Inputs from electronics and communication student 09:

01. Tell me about yourself.

02. Explain about the recent project on which you have worked.

03. What was your role and contribution to the project?

04. How did you finalize the solution?

05. Tell me the logic behind printing the first ten natural no’s. Use any language of your preference.

06. Logic behind Fibonacci series. Follow up questions with modifications using concepts like Recursions.

PWC HR Interview Questions

HR interview questions will be the same for all students.

01. Introduce yourself.

02. Tell me about your strengths and justify the same.

03. Explain any one project of your preference in the academic career which showcased your strengths.
