The database is nothing but a storage place to store data.
 
A DBMS is a software application that interacts, applications, and users to capture and analyze the required data. The data stored in the database can be retrieved, deleted, and modified based on the client’s requirements.
 
The types of DBMS are:

  1. Network
  2. Hierarchial
  3. Relational
  4. Object-oriented
