Optical circuit breakers

You know about MCB, SF6, Vacuum, and digital circuit breakers. But let me share that the circuit breaker which is still under development. Optical circuit breakers use light to interrupt electrical current. They are very fast and reliable, and they have the potential to revolutionize the way we protect electrical circuits. Optical circuit breakers work by using a laser to create a plasma arc in a vacuum. The plasma arc is a highly conductive gas that can interrupt very high voltages and currents. Optical circuit breakers are still in the early stages of development, but they have the potential to be used in a wide range of applications, including power transmission and distribution systems, industrial control systems, and transportation systems.
