Modern vehicles contain various safety technologies to prevent accidents. For example, ABS, or Antilock Braking System, ensures that the wheels don’t lock up during hard braking, enabling drivers to retain control and reduce stopping distances. ESC, or Electronic Stability Control, prevents skidding and loss of control by applying individual brakes and adjusting engine power. LDW, or Lane Departure Warning, alerts drivers when their vehicle unintentionally drifts out of the lane. AEB, or Automatic Emergency Braking, automatically applies the brakes if the driver fails to respond to a crash warning. Lastly, BSD, or Blind Spot Detection, uses sensors to identify vehicles in the driver’s blind spots.
And some other technologies are Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS), Adaptive Cruise Control, & Traffic Sign Recognition.
These safety technologies are essential for accident prevention and enhancing overall road safety.
