Hey guys, have you seen those big yellow, orange, white, or red balls hanging from power lines?

Well, let me explain to you.

Those balls are visibility markers. Their weight is 17 pounds each.

And you will often find them near mountains, major freeway crossings, and around airports.

Visibility markers are placed on power lines to make the conductor crossings visible to pilots.

Because the wires become almost invisible to the pilot.

And small planes often fly low in mountain areas.

So, Balls are easily visible and pilots can identify power lines and make themself safe from accidents.

And thanks for watching.
