The main purpose of the DCM is to provide a common API for diagnostic services. It is used while developing, manufacturing, or service by external diagnostic tools. The DCM performs the scheduling of diagnostic PDUs. It acts like a user by requesting full communication from the ComM if the diagnostic shall be performed.
