01. Share your previous work with your clients – This means to make your client believe in your service, you need to share your previous work so that they can believe in you for their work. You can share screenshots with them or create a portfolio website and share links with them.
02. Send them a monthly newsletter – Send your clients a newsletter of your successful work, discounts, and you can also tell them that you are providing a few more services in this domain. By doing this, you can be in touch with your clients.
03. Alway use the word “we” – By using “we”, the clients will think that you have the team and you are not alone working on projects. They think that whole team members are working together. And the chances of getting work will become high.
04. Develop new skills and learn new technologies – As new technologies come into the market, people will stop using old technologies, for example, a few years back, PHP was used in the back-end, but now currently people are using python for the back-end. So, for continuous work, you need to upgrade your skills.
05. Don’t lower your rate –Â If you reduce your price that your brand value will decrease, instead of lowering your rates, convince them that you will provide excellent service. And make sure that you provide good service to them. Keep in mind, set price as per market stands and never reduce it for your clients.
06. Always use promise word & deliver over –Â Promise your client that you will complete work before the deadline and try to deliver as early as possible with 100% quality.
07. Advertise in Linkedin – Linkedin is a great medium to generate more clients because in Linkedin there are many professionals and entrepreneurs. If you post about your work on Linkedin with some tags then it will reach a huge audience and some people will come forward for work.
08. Be connected with the freelancing agencies – By being close with the freelancing agencies they will help you by connecting you with clients but they will charge money from you. But you will get work and you can make money.
09. Develop a friendly relationship with clients – Building a good relationship with clients will help you to get more work in the future. Apart from work sometimes talking about their life means asking them their hobbies and what is their current position to build a relation with them.
10. Be available when they call – Pick up call in 3 to 6 seconds when they call you for work, this will build a good impression about you on them and they think that you are interested to do their work.
