Difference Between HTTP and HTTPS
First of all, I will tell you the full form of HTTP and HTTPS. HTTP stands for HyperText Transfer Protocol and HTTPS stands for HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure. As the full form indicates that the website with HTTP will not be secure compared to a website with HTTPS will be secure.
Now the question arises that how the website with HTTP will not be secure? so, guys, any website build with HTTP if the hackers want to see your website password or anything private information they can easily see everything if the website is made with HTTP, not with HTTPS. If the website is made with HTTPS, if the hackers want to hack your data they can not hack anything because a website is made with HTTPS, so your data or information will be secure.
As you can understand the concept by seeing the above image, if your website is made with HTTP and your password is guru99 the hackers can easily hack your password and suppose your website is made with HTTPS if the hackers want to see your password they can’t see your real password, it will show them some other value.
If your website is made with HTTP convert it to HTTPS, there are many videos on youtube that will help you to convert your website.
Here I will discuss some more differences between.
HTTP – Application protocol for collaborative, distributed, and hypermedia information systems. | HTTPS – Extension of the HTTP protocol for secure communication over a computer network. |
HTTP – It works in the application layer of the OSI model. | HTTPS – It works in the transport layer of the OSI model. |

HTTP – There is no encryption and decryption. | HTTPS – There are encryption and decryption. |
HTTP – It helps to transfer text, audio, video, images through web pages. | HTTPS – It helps to transfer data securely via the network. |
