Five Latest Technologies For Electrical & Electronics Engineer
Nowadays, technology is upgrading day by day. So, engineers must also go parallel with technology. Technology made our lifestyle very easy and everyone must have a habit to learn or adopt new technologies. Here in this article, I will share five latest technologies for electrical and electronics engineering engineers and must know.
The five latest technologies are:
01. Smart Grid
02. Chip Design
03. Electric Vehicle
04. Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence
05. Home Automation & IoT
By learning these things you will get job with high package. The demand in these field is increasing day by day. Now, let’s discuss one by one.
01. Smart Grid
The technology is used in power plants, substations, power grids, etc that will automate the station. If any fault occurs, the smart grid technology automatically resolves the fault. It will also automate many operations such as switching or closing of a circuit breaker, isolator, and fault detection. This system will reduce manpower. If you are passionate to work in a power system then you need to learn about the smart grid.
02. Chip Design
We all know this is a digital world with lots of electronic gadgets, memories, and data. So, in these all things one thing in common i.e., integrated circuits or IC or chips. In the olden days, there were no data and electronic devices but in today’s world there are many devices and daily lots of data in the digital world is getting generated so to store these data memories are required. And to design, any circuit chips or IC’s are required. So, the demand for chip design or VLSI engineers is increasing day by day. If you want to become a VLSI or chip design engineer then you must learn about this.
03. Electric vehicle
Nowadays, each and every country’s government is focusing on electric vehicles. In 2030 almost 40% population will use electric vehicles as per the report. Electrical and electronics engineers play a major role in electric vehicle manufacturing. The work of electrical and electronics engineers is to design a motor circuit, power electronic circuit, and check battery system. The electric vehicle has many advantages compared to the diesel or petrol vehicle, the advantages are no pollution, low noise, eco friendly, etc.
04. Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence
In upcoming days, machine learning and AI algorithms will be used in substations, power plants, and motor drives to predict the fault and resolve it or to make operation automatic. So, this is also the latest technology that should be learning. ML and AI working are similar to human brains, but we need to train systems with lots of data to produce accurate output. Here, the dataset is important to predict the output. ML and AI are also used in a self-driving electric vehicle. So, if you are going into the automobile industry or power system industry you must learn ML and AI.
05. Home Automation & IoT
At present, 70% of people still don’t know about IoT (Internet Of Things). In upcoming days, each and every appliance at home will be connected with the internet and the appliance like heater, fridge, AC, etc will communicate with each other with the internet. For example, if you are coming back home from the office the door will be opened for you automatically this thing will happen through the internet. If you want to become an electrician then you need need to learn about this technology.
These are the five latest technologies that electrical and electronics engineers must know. Still, there are many such technologies which I will discuss in upcoming articles. I hope this article may help you all a lot. Thank you for reading.
