How To Clear GATE Exam In 2023
If you are an average student and you are worried about the GATE exam that it will be tough for me, don’t worry I will tell you some tips to clear the GATE exam. An average student can also clear the GATE exam, the only thing is focus, and willpower required. The GATE exam is conducted by seven IIT colleges and an Indian Institute of science.
Tips To Clear GATE Exam

So, guys, these are some tips to clear the GATE exam. Now let me explain them one by one.
01. Start from the 5th sem- If you really want to clear the GATE exam then start preparing from the 5th sem it is the best time to start preparing for the GATE exam. In the 5th sem, almost every subject will be covered in your classes so you can easily start preparing for the GATE.
02. Study pattern and analyze the syllabus- For one week just study the pattern of the GATE exam like how many questions are asked, which types of questions are asked, the timing for each question, etc. After studying the pattern, start analyzing the syllabus like how many subjects are there in the syllabus, what all subjects are in the syllabus, etc. Take one week’s time and analyze everything.
03. Note important topics- It means that note all the important subjects you want to start preparing first. Make a list of all subjects which will be asked in the GATE exam then which subjects have more marks start preparing for that subject.
04. Download previous papers- Download the previous 10 years all papers which will be helpful for you to understand better about the exam. Study all previous papers thoroughly, and solve them once or twice because previous some questions may repeat again.
05. Separate notes- Maintain separate notes for all subjects because it will be helpful while doing revision. Keep separate notes for aptitude, maths, and for technical.
06. One subject for three weeks- Study one subject for three weeks, complete all portions of one subject in three weeks because within a short period you should prepare for the GATE exam.
07. Watch videos- If you don’t understand any concepts then you can watch Youtube videos many channels are there on youtube related to GATE. You can clear all technical doubts by watching videos on youtube.
08. Join classes- If you don’t like self-study then you can join the GATE classes, and choose the proper institute for the GATE.
09. Revision and practice- In the 7th sem start revision and practice, revision is very important otherwise you will forget some points while writing the GATE exam, so revision is very important.
10. Mock tests- Once you have confidence that you have completed all topics then start taking the mock test which will help you to know how much you have prepared for the GATE exam.
