How to learn data structures and algorithms?

When you start learning data structures and algorithms, the most important thing is to change your attitude. Let me add few points:

1. You need to invest in yourself for the next 4-5 months. Just don’t worry about interviews at all. That will hamper your preparation.

2. Focus on problems rather than company tags like amazon, google, etc. You are not expected to solve interview problems in the initial phase.

3. Many times, you will not be able to solve the problem. Just keep motivating yourself, that I am in a learning phase right now and I am learning new things. I am not expected to be able to solve every problem.

4. Make sure whatever you were not able to solve, you are revising it after some time. This is how you will grow and will become a better programmer.
