what is the top trends in electrical engineering?

so hello gys how are you today? I’m darshan and today we are going to learn about top trends in electrical engineering, but first I wanna ask you what is electrical engineering? Anybody else? Write down in comments.
Let’s share my opinion. I’m thinking in the terms of engineering it is like innovations. Hence electrical engineering means small/big innovations in all types of electrical things. Engineers solves the problems in systems and create new inventions which is reliable to environment, better in accuracy etc etc….  
There is lots of topics to cover in electrical engineering trends but we are going to talk about few of them.

For a long time ago, who would have thought that we all wear something like smart watch and it will show our health conditions and much more.
Did you know? There were such devices are available which can help to improve safety during job. Electrical engineers select range of devices that can minimize electric shock when working with live circuits.
Smart grids
This is the advanced version of normal grids. It is providing communication between technologies and power system networks. Due to smart grids small consumers no longer depend on big power companies. Yes, it’s right, most households and small companies now generate their personal power. Smart grids also provides improved safety and help to eliminate accidents using high level of control.
