Number Of Rounds

  1. Round 1: Online Screening test
  2. Round 2: Technical Interview
  3. Round 3: HR Interview

Round 1: Online Test

This round consists of two phases:

  1. Aptitude Test
  2. Programming

Aptitude test consists of:

a.Numerical: Time and Distance, Time and Work, Profit and loss, Simple interest and Compound Interest, Number series, etc.

b. Logical Reasoning: Verbal & Non-Verbal, Data Sufficiency

c.English: Comprehension, sentence correction, rearrange sentences, Synonyms, and Antonyms, Phrases, and Idioms, Syllogism, complete the sentence, etc.

d. Basic Computer knowledge: MS Office, Email services, file extensions, etc.

Programming:

  1. Choice of languages: C, C++, Python, Java, etc.
  2. There were two programs to be executed:

  1. Easy level: e.g. To find the sum of the square of numbers between 1 to given range

  2. Difficult level: Based on real-time problems.

Round 2: Technical Interview

01. Tell me about Yourself.

02. Asked me to explain any of my Projects in detail and asked questions based on that project. Be thorough with your project and code related to it.

03. Some basics questions on C, C++

04. What is Machine Learning? Where do you apply to Machine Learning in Electrical Engineering?

05. Asked whether I know about Programming languages or no.

06. Asked me Why I have chosen Electrical engineering.

Tips:

As it is an IT company, even though it was a technical round, obviously they test our communication skill, confidence. So be confident about whatever you talk about. Talk about only what you know as they may ask detailed questions on what you say. Say politely NO if you don’t know about what they ask. They also test your honesty level.

Round 3: HR Interview

01. Introduce yourself.

02. Why should we hire you?

03. Interests and Hobbies.

04. Are you comfortable with Relocation and Shifts?

05. They will give you some situations and will ask to get through it.

06. They will focus on Communication skills so be confident while answering.

Tips:

For HR, what you mention in your resume is important, be prepared to explain with justification, don’t mention anything blindly. Talk confidently, be calm for all questions. Put only real hobbies. Know your personality, confidence level, communication, and work on weak areas.
